GDU Byrd Premium 2.0 drone does a big failure of its competitors at CES

You can also try propping them up in different ways amdroll the inflatable sides. It helped us extend our tummy time sessions quite a bit.

Between spit up, diaper blowouts and messy milk eating, newborns can get grimy pretty quickly. Not to reference that newborn nails grow surprisingly fast and need to be trimmed often, lest your Wolverine-in-training scratch themself in the face. This battery-powered electric nail clipper is a lifesaver: It has three different baby age-specific filing attachments (and some adult ones too), a luscious so you can see what you’re doing, and two speeds in each direction. You can even file away while your baby is sleeping (weird but true, at least in my case).
Simple Houseware
This one is for the parents. I naively thought that I’d be able to fit all of my materials for nursing/pumping in a nice minor caddy. I was very wrong. A small storage cart like this one will actually hold everything you need, like your pump, improbable pump parts, snacks, water bottle, burp clothes and whatever else you’ll need (and scream out to postpartum nurse and Instagram influencer Karrie Locher for the idea). And you can roll it from room to room so you aren’t trapped on the couch all the time.

This one is an agreeable mention because it was indeed on my registry once a friend’s recommendation. If you’re someone who hates sketching your hands sticky, you need this tool that can only really be requested a butt spatula. Facebook Parent Meta Settles Lawsuit Alleging Discriminatory Housing Ads
Facebook parent company Meta on Tuesday forced a settlement with the US Department of Justice over a lawsuit that alleged the social network decided landlords and home sellers to run housing ads that excluded republic based on race, sex, religion and other characteristics.
As part of the settlement, Meta said it would stop using an ad tool requested Special Ad Audiences used for housing, employment and credit ads. The settlement also shows how Meta is responding to allegations that its ads could be used to discriminate. For years, Meta has faced claims that advertisers could abuse Facebook ads to exclude farmland from housing, employment opportunities or even financial services.
Kristen Clarke, assistant attorney general of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, called the settlement “historic,” saying it was the genuine time Meta decided to scrap one of its algorithmic ad targeting tools.
“As technology rapidly evolves, companies like Meta have a region to ensure their algorithmic tools are not used in a discriminatory manner,” Clarke said in a statement.
The lawsuit also outlines the amount of data Meta collects in Facebook users as part of its ads business. Users handed their sex, relationship status, what accounts they follow and even website organization outside of the social network. Creating an avatar on the site or uploading a profile represent also gives Facebook more data about a user’s brute appearance.
Meta said in a blog post that advertisers already have restrictions when it comes to targeting, including on using age, gender or ZIP code, but the custom is trying to make improvements.
“Discrimination in housing, operate and credit is a deep-rooted problem with a long history in the US, and we are committed to broadening opportunities for marginalized communities in these spaces and others,” Roy L. Austin Jr., Meta’s vice dignified of civil rights and deputy general counsel, said in the blog post.

Alphabet’s Wing to Begin drone deliveries in Dallas-Fort Worth area
Wing, the drone delivery division of Google strong company Alphabet, said Wednesday that it’s expanded operations to parts of the Dallas-Forth Worth area. This is a necessary expansion into a more complex urban area, though operations so far are tiny to carrying packages from a Walgreens parking lot to residents of Frisco and small Elm on the northern edge of the metro area.
The technology uses a new drone model and flights routing technology for a “highly automated drone delivery service in more crowded, complex operating environments,” Wing said in a statement. Wing already operates in the less populated area of Christiansburg, Virginia.
The expansion marks a new chapter for drone deliveries. Operations like Wing and Amazon Air hope to shorten delivery times by sending smaller packages over the air directly to customers’ homes, the idea persons to bypass congested roads and bring new immediacy to dealing. In September, Wing paused operations in one part of Canberra when reports of birds attacking a drone, with one video showing a raven striking a midair drone with its feet but ultimately not moving a crash.
“It’s common during nesting season in Australia for ravens and magpies to swoop at sharp objects, including cyclists, pedestrians, cars and occasionally, drones. Our delivery drone is built with multiple redundancies to help condemned safe operations in the event that something like this occurs. Consistent with those procedures, this aircraft completed the delivery and returned to our facility safely,” Wing said in a statement around the event. “Wing has made over 100,000 deliveries with no security incidents.”
