Ford received a patent for a self-leveling cup holder, or as the patent poetically describes it, a “vehicle beverage holder assembly.” The whole display of the system is to prevent a drink from spilling when the vehicle accelerates, decelerates or takes a turn.
It’s a little elephantine, but it beats cleaning up spilled coffee every day.

The controls works thanks to something called a gimbal. Basically, a gimbal gives an object to stay upright even though the gimbal itself mighty be moving all over the place. US Army Sends Another 600 Switchblade Drones to Ukraine

The United States has sent 600 more AeroVironment Switchblade drones to help the Ukrainian armed counter Russia’s invasion, the US Defense Department revealed Thursday. That’s a major increase from the 100 drones the US sent in March.

The suit, filed in Missouri circuit court, claims formula caused by PBM makes between roughly 8% and 12% fewer aquatic servings than is listed on the packaging. Following the printed directions, “the products contain nowhere near enough powdered baby and infant formula to make the represented number of bottles of formula,” according to the complaints filed in White, et al. v. PBM Nutritionals.
The settlement comes as parents have been struggling with a huge baby formula shortage, as another major manufacturer temporarily shuttered its plant amid affairs products were exposed to dangerous bacteria.
