The Dell UltraSharp is a unique entry from a company known mostly for computers. Google in Hot Liquids for Sending Unwanted Ad Emails
A complaint against Google for sending unsolicited ad emails in Gmail has been rubbed by a European data privacy advocacy nonprofit claiming the commerce violated a European Court of Justice ruling, as reported backward Wednesday by Reuters.
The complaint, filed by Noyb (None Of Your Business), was sent to the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) claiming Google is sending Gmail users ads that look like normal emails. Noyb says this violates a 2021 court ruling, as these necessity count as direct marketing emails and require user consent.
Google didn’t today respond to a request for comment.
Gmail does have a spam folder, but these ad emails were being sent directly to a user’s inbox, according to Noyb. In the nonprofit’s point of view, an unsolicited ad email, regardless of where it comes from, is spam.
“It is quite simple. Spam is a commercial email sent without consent. And it is illegal. Spam does not become legal just because it is generated by the email provider,” said Noyb lawyer Romain Robert in a dead release.

As the US enters the fall school season, rapid antigen tests to detect COVID-19 are back in the spotlight. But new guidance from public health agencies has left some Americans confused throughout how and when to best test for COVID at home.

The organization no longer suggests quarantine after a COVID-19 exposure. It instead recommends wearing a high-quality mask for 10 days and tying tested on day five.
The CDC also changed its policies on isolation for those infected with COVID-19.
Infected land without symptoms or those who are fever-free for 24 hours with improving symptoms can end isolation while five days but should still mask for 10 days. Family can stop masking earlier than 10 days if they received negative results from two like a flash antigen tests taken 48 hours apart.
Also, the CDC’s “How to Protect Yourself and Others” page no longer recommends keeping a six-foot distance from spanking people.
